Police said 38-year-old Gary Green stabbed his wife, Lovetta Armstead, 32, multiple times at their home Monday night in South Oak Cliff and then turned his wrath on her six-year-old daughter, Jazzman Montgomery, killing her as well.

He next  picked up his 12 and nine-year-old sons at church, assaulted the older one and then turned himself in to police early yesterday morning.

Jazzman was a first grader at the Academy of Dallas charter school, where teachers and classmates were said to be heartbroken to learn of her death.

Armstead worked as a substitute teacher at Greiner Middle School.

How can we possibly prevent such tragedies?

Rosario Murillo, the wife of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega (both above), reportedly tried to stop an ugly family affair from going public recently when his adopted stepdaughter accused him of sexually abusing her from the time she was 11.

Murillo was quick to dismiss the allegations - sticking by her husband’s denials – even as the Nicaraguan leader’s own loyalists murmured that the charges were true, according to Fox News.

How can mothers possibly dismiss or deny such lurid allegations?

Who knows if it’s true?

I have to wonder why is she writing such a book and admitting such secrets?

Who in their right mind would do so?
