According to sources close to Rihanna and reported on E-online, Chris Brown nearly choked her to death while threatening to kill her, after blackening her eye and then leaving the scene.
She was unconscious at one point.
Police were so concerned about her condition that they rushed her to the hospital without waiting for an ambulance.
Read the chilling details at E-online here.
Their quarreling began Saturday night at a pre-Grammy award party and exploded when Rihanna took his silver Lamborghini car keys and tossed them out the window.

Chris Brown might not be jumping for joy right now.
After Wrigley dropped him from a Doublemint gum TV ad Monday, now Got Milk? has dropped him, as well, two days after roughing up his girlfriend Rihanna.
Read the Eonline story here.
The NBA has told him he need not show up at their All-Star game and festivities this weekend in Phoenix. He’ll likely skip the NAACP image awards, too, for which he and Rihanna are both nominated.
CoverGirl will apparently continue to feature Rihanna in their ad campaigns.
Thankfully the nation is reacting against his abusive behavior. Hopefully others will get the message now, too.

Wrigley announced yesterday that it will drop singer Chris Brown from it’s Doublemint gum TV ad, pending the investigation into his alleged assault charge against his girlfriend Rihanna.
Bravo to Wrigley for taking a stand against domestic violence!
Far too few people are willing to speak out against even alleged abusers! For example, when Dallas radio station host Russ Martin was arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend last year, we called for his suspension by CBS radio station “Live 105.3,” until he had his day in court. Most of the domestic violence shelters in Dallas were even too timid to join us in calling for his suspension! They said they wanted to wait until Martin’s grand jury hearing, to see if he was charged.
If we want to ever eliminate domestic violence, then we can’t wait! Teachers and police arrested for crimes are suspended pending investigations. Why shouldn’t alleged abusers receive the same treatment?
Martin finally was charged by a Tarrant County grand jury with a misdemeanor, but that all died down when 105.3 recently switched formats and Martin was let go.
Nevertheless, we hope the next time that someone is “charged” with family violence that domestic violence advocates will take a stand and speak out just as they always tell victims to do!
We will definitely be doing so!

R&B singer Jennifer Hudson gave a tearful acceptance speech when she took home a Grammy Award on Sunday, thanking her three late family members who were killed last year.
The singer secluded herself from the public in October, after the murders of her mother, brother and nephew on Chicago’s South side by her sister’s estranged husband William Balfour.

According to a video news report just in from the Houston TV affiliate of WFAA-TV in Dallas, the stepfather who is accused of murdering Baby Grace refused to answer any questions from his wife’s attorneys today at his trial in Galveston.
The video shows a photo of Royce Clyde Zeigler II with his two-year-old stepdaughter, as well his wife, Kimberly Dawn Trenor.
My first thought upon viewing it was they sure look like normal people – not a couple capable of doing such horrendous things as Kimberly has already admitted to. It goes to show that child abusers often look normal – like everybody else.
Watch the video here and see what I mean.
